Aluminium Tread Plates (Checker Plates)

Safety meets durability — engineered for superior anti-slip properties with 5-Bar, 2-Bar, and Diamond patterns in marine-grade 5754 and 5083 alloys.

Overview

Specifications

Safety meets durability. Aludate Aluminium Tread Plates (also known as Checker Plates or Chequer Plates) are engineered to provide superior anti-slip properties in the most demanding environments. Produced with a raised pattern on one side, our plates offer excellent grip while maintaining the lightweight and corrosion-resistant advantages of aluminium. They are the industry standard for safe flooring in transport, marine, and industrial sectors.

We offer three pattern options: 5-Bar (Quintet) — the most popular industrial pattern providing maximum multi-directional slip resistance; 2-Bar (Duet) — a cleaner look often used in architectural decoration and vehicle trimming; and Diamond (One-Bar) — the classic heavy-duty pattern offering aggressive traction for loading ramps and steps.

We specialize in 5754 and 5083 alloys which provide exceptional resistance to seawater and salt spray, making them ideal for shipbuilding and offshore platforms. The strictly controlled pattern height ensures long-lasting anti-slip performance even when wet or oily. The surface is easy to clean, hygienic, and resistant to chemicals, suitable for ambulances, food trucks, and clean environments. All products manufactured according to EN 1386 standard.
